FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions.
Are you insured?
Yes. Rumor Rentals carries business liability insurance, so you can book with confidence. If your venue requires proof of insurance or a Certificate of Insurance (COI), just let us know and we'll be happy to provide the appropriate documentation.
What areas do you service?
Rumor Rentals is based in Connecticut and serves events throughout the state and surrounding areas. Travel outside our standard service area may be available for an additional fee — just tell us where the party is.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and peak event dates. That said, if your event is right around the corner, reach out! If we have availability, we'll do our best to make it happen.
What is required to reserve my date?
A signed contract and 50% deposit are required to officially reserve your date. Your date is not considered booked until both have been received.
Can I customize my experience?
Absolutely. Depending on your rental, we can personalize elements like photo templates, backdrops, signage, screens, and other details to complement your event. We want your experience to feel like it belongs there — not like something dropped into the room.
Do you deliver and set everything up?
Yes. We handle delivery, professional setup, and breakdown for applicable rentals. Our goal is for the experience to feel effortless from your perspective.
Will someone be there during my event?
Attendant service is included with select experiences and can be added to others when available. We'll go over exactly what's included before you book, so there are no surprises.
How much space and power do your rentals require?
It varies by experience. Once we know what you're booking and where your event is being held, we'll provide the specific space, power, and setup requirements and coordinate the details with you.
What happens if something goes wrong during the event?
Problem-solving is part of what we do. We arrive prepared, thoroughly test our equipment, and have plans in place for the unexpected. If an issue arises, our priority is addressing it quickly and minimizing any disruption to your event.
